About Us

Who We Are?

We’ve started our journey (Hazi Abdus Shohid Foundation) In 2008 with help from our family members. We have named this organization after our late father Hazi Abdus Shohid who was a community leader and spent his whole life helping the poor and needy and Supporting his community in various other ways.

In honour of his legacy, we’ve started this charity organization. So far we have carried out numerous charity works to help economically struggling families by taking care of their education expenses and marriage funds, we have also carried out projects like building new houses, medical support & camps, distribution of sewing machines, tube wells for houses.

We sponsor 1 Primary and 1 High School annually to encourage and educate children by supporting their educational expenses like schooling fees, books, school dress, etc.

After successfully helping local communities for the last 12 years we are now ready to expand and grow further and reach more communities & locations in the world and provide opportunities and growth.

What We Do?

Thanks to Smile Learning Centre, with their collaboration we are building our First Major Project a 3-Floor Building. We are thankful to the CEO of Hazi Abdus Shohid Foundation Mr Muhammed Abdul Kuduse for being kind and donating the land needed for this building.

Our aim is to provide support & necessary tools for everyone who cannot afford and below are a few of the works we want to offer

– Free basic education for children whose parents cannot afford to pay school fees for their children

– Basic computer & IT courses

– Free medical camp

– Library for the general public

– Basic English speaking courses

– Evening classes in speaking English for elderly free of cost

– Workshops classes like crafts, educational activities, current affairs.

– Helping those in need to be independent by providing Sewing machines, rickshaws & tube wells

– Support for building homes, small start-up businesses (like a chicken farm, fishery, etc) & support for small business equipment like iron, etc.

As we are expanding we want to include the whole community and grow together for the betterment of humanity. We want you to be a part of helping make the world a better place and you can contribute by helping our Emergency appeals like Rohingya appeals, Lebanon food crisis and many more.
